Selecting the Wattage of a Constant Voltage Volume Control

Select a constant voltage control with a rating large enough to match the total connected capacity of the step down transformers. For example, if three speakers were to be connected to one volume control and the tap settings for each speaker were 2 watts, the total connected capacity requirements for the volume control would be 6 watts. As a result you would specify a 10 watt volume control.

100 Volt, 70 Volt or 25 Volt?
